there's only one tree hill.

{This post has a million and one pictures, FYI}

If you're not a fan of One Tree Hill... this may not be that exciting for you.

Thursday I had quite the grand adventure in Park City, UT. Gabrielle, Nicole, and I made the journey sometime in the morning to try and find the cast of our beloved One Tree Hill (yes, we really do love it that much). So, Nicole (and whoever else would like to enjoy my fabulous story), this is for you. (I will try and explain the awesome day through pictures...although you must realize the greatness of this event cannot be expressed fully--it was a dream come true)

We started off the day not knowing anything except their trailers were parked in City Park (had never heard of that before, not extremely familiar with Park City)
Here is Gabriella and I using our stalker skills trying to decide where to go next in PC.
No big deal...we found their "Base Camp". No actors though...so we asked some guy in a truck where they were, he told us some vague directions to their house location (couldn't remember the street name) (oh and when I say "we" I mean Nicole)
After we drove up to the Oaks, really not knowing where to go...we found a sign that said "OTH" with an arrow. Score. We followed that until we came to another arrow.

Trucks, giant houses... I'm pretty sure we found it.
After using our stalker skills, we realized we were just that... stalking them. Ha! It was a little embarrassing, but we definitely got over it.
We made lots of friends along the way, some giving us tips on what to do on our little adventure. They only let us go as far as the bottom of the driveway.
We were taught how to wave to the actors to get them to come talk to us (down low) and a lady with the ugliest striped pants I had ever seen told us where to stand at just the right times.

As we got more used to the situation, it was quite fun. Two other girls (besides the three of us) showed up to wait with us. (this made it not quite as awkward) Everyone in the crew kept asking us how we found them (of course, like I have already mentioned, it was our awesome stalking skills).

We watched them film a scene outside from afar (they walked up and down these stairs probably 50 times--basically all the actors are in this shot) This was very entertaining. I never realized how much STUFF goes into making this magic happen.
And this distracted us from the fact that we had been standing (in the cold freezing cold) for 3 and a half hours...which led to the best part of the day... when the lady with the ugly pants told us to get our cameras ready as she called for a van. (the actors would now be slowly leaving for a break)

First up... Alex (Jana Kramer). Obviously, I was pretty darn happy. I know, I'm such a dork. I really did make that face. Ha!!
She was super nice, totally pretty, and smelled divine.
Okay... after Alex came down we weren't sure who would be next...
Then we see Mouth (or Lee Norris or Minkus for the Boy Meets World fans...), he introduces himself and shook our hands. After him I see BROOKE (or B. Davis, or Sophia Bush, or Beth from John Tucker Must Die), needless to say she is GORGEOUS. Seriously, even prettier in real life. Is that possible? Then there is Julian (or Austin Nichols) and Clay (or Robert Buckley). Those two guys were totally awesome. They were hilarious and adorable... and I could go on... But I'll save you from my craziness. Sophia Bush was really nice... ah. I was totally star struck, you can't really tell though can you?? ha!
Meet Skills (or Antwon Tanner). He was totally out of it. And asked us if we were gonna party with him later. Ha. Loved it.
Now...if you can't tell...I was soooo excited in this picture. It's HALEY! (or Bethany Joy Galeotti) I LOVE her. In the show, and she was definitely my favorite one we talked to that day. She was just super cute and tiny (and if you're looking for good music...look her up! She's in a band called Everly--they're amazing)
After we got a picture with Haley she yelled out her car that we better get this guy's autograph because he'll be "the next big thing", of course we did... but I don't even know his name.
Okay...seriously?? How cute is he?? This is Jamie!!! He was shy and just precious. He plays the son of Haley and Nathan on the show. I loved him.
The last one we got to see was Chase (or Stephen Coletti from Laguna Beach)...umm...he was majorly good looking. He did smell like smoke...which I wasn't a fan of...but he's sexy!
We waited probably another hour before we realized we weren't going to get to see Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) come down (although we did see her run out on the deck 50 times in a little green bikini as she filmed a scene)...and sadly (seriously, I was so sad) this was as close as we got to Nathan (or James Lafferty)
Still...pretty cool right!?? It was surreal. Meeting all of these people (you feel like you know, when really you just know their characters) that you have watched for 7 seasons (yeah, that's A LOT of tv...maybe someday I'll try getting a life ha ha)

A little explanation behind my obsession:
Miss Hayley Brady first introduced One Tree Hill to me our Junior year of High School.
I watched season 3 first (Hayley and I watched it on our road trip to Newport)
After that, I was hooked.
Really, I applied it to my life constantly.
That may be a tad embarrassing, but I don't mind.
(I even used one of Brooke Davis' lines on a boy.)
It was awesome.
If you don't watch it, you should.

Anyway, I'll be extremely excited for the episode they filmed in PC (season 7 finale)
I will also be hoping they come back for season 8.

OTH for life!
(ha! thanks for enduring my teenage fantasy come true)

just a little obsessed.

All I can think about.... is how the cast of One Tree Hill is in Park City this week... and I am DYING to go meet them.

Wow. I should probably not admit that.

But I just did.
